Need Help with TNR of Feral Cats?

We, along with the city and county of Sacramento, advocate TNR. This means Trap, Neuter, and Return of healthy feral cats back to the locations where they were trapped.

We do NOT trap and permanently remove cats from an area.

If you want to participate in TNR, we can provide you with all of the information you will need.

We offer guidance throughout the TNR process including:
  • Help making free or low-cost clinic appointments
  • Information regarding spay/neuter vouchers (depending on your address)
  • Instructions on how to trap feral cats
  • Information on where to borrow or rent traps for use, and
  • The benefits of TNR to cats and to the community.

If you are disabled, elderly or otherwise physically compromised and you need help trapping or transporting feral cats, please let us know. Sometimes (based on availability) volunteers can assist.

Important Note: It is illegal to trap and relocate a feral cat. Doing so is unethical and will most likely cause their starvation and death.
