
There are several free or low-cost resources in the greater Sacramento area for getting feral cats spayed/neutered. Note that some options depend on where you/the cats reside.
Policies and prices are always changing. We try to keep our info up-to-date, but it is best to contact each organization and confirm what is available.
Please note: If you bring a feral cat or cats to these clinics, YOU are responsible for their after care. In addition, you must return them to their colonies and agree to manage the colony responsibly, ie. provide food and water and monitor their health.
Sacramento SPCA

*Coalition For Community Cats (C4CC) Vouchers
- Sacramento SPCA - For residents outside Sacramento city/county (and for Sacramento area residents when grant funding is not covering the cost of SSPCA drop-ins) C4CC can provide you with a voucher to cover the costs at the SPCA. These vouchers are for Monday-Saturday Drop-ins. One trapped cat per day is allowed and no appointment is necessary. Services include spay/neuter, mandatory ear tip and vaccinations.
- Community Spay Neuter and Animal Outreach - reduced-fee vouchers are available for these locations. Vouchers cover up to $50.
