You can help improve the lives of feral cats in our community by becoming a SacFerals Volunteer. If you want to learn about feral cats and how to help them, and you are a cat person or care about animals, we can provide volunteer training. All volunteers go through an orientation and workshop specific to each position. A general knowledge of cats and feral cats is helpful.

There are many opportunities available to you through Sacramento Feral Resources. Whether you prefer to work in the field and be “hands-on” or work from your computer and phone to provide assistance, you can help. In addition, if you have experience with socializing, fostering, and/or caring for very young kittens or you would like to become a colony caregiver, we’d like to hear from you.
